DESCRIPTION
This unit draws on concepts related to strategy and strategic decision-making process to build an understanding to sustain competitive advantage within organisations. Students are exposed to strategic management tools and frameworks to analyse business performance and evaluate potential business strategies. They will learn to undertake industry analysis and analysis of a firm’s competitive advantage, resources, and capabilities. The subject also addresses the issues of business scope, diversification, and ethics within organisations.
