Orientation
During your first week, there will be no scheduled classes. Instead, our Orientation program introduces you to life as a Leaders Institute student, with vital information, as well as opportunities to meet other students and experience the local environment and culture. It is designed to set you up for success with information sessions that walk you through everything you need to know about studying at Leaders Institute. There are a wide variety of topics, such as the learning management system, study skills, academic integrity, online safety, cybersecurity, important dates, timetables, ID cards, and financial obligations.
The student support team provide a tour of the campus, introduce you to key staff, and explains the information technology and services available. The campus is equipped with break-out areas, kitchens, tutorial rooms, and study spaces with computers and computer/scanners available. At LI, we believe that networking with industry experts and classmates is an integral part of your study experience. So, we provide ample opportunities for social activities, professional development workshops, and other networking events. Our tutors can answer any questions you may have about your new study journey. They will help you find your away around campus and online spaces, so you feel at home from your very first day.
