BC100 Professional Business Communication
DESCRIPTION
This unit develops skills and knowledge related to business communication. Emphasis will be placed on students’ ability to locate, understand, and critically evaluate business information. The unit analyses communication using relevant theories to enhance a clear understanding of communication in context and application. The use and importance of high level, appropriate verbal and non-verbal relational abilities for professional communication is explored. The unit develops academic literacy that will better enable students to become independent learners and to work efficiently and effectively in the workplace.
