AB210 Agribusiness Project

DESCRIPTION

This unit develops team skills through the group solution of real world issues faced within the agribusiness industry.  Students integrate, consolidate and extend functional knowledge from units within the course by seeking solutions to  problems sourced from industry and business. Team-working skills in diverse and cross-functional situations will be  developed with an emphasis on the importance of applying research to practical problem solving and decision-making.  Communication skills will be extended through preparation of a research report and its presentation. The unit transitions students from a learning to a professional work environment by applying theory and research to practice. The learning  activities for this unit include developing an issue paper, project work in small groups, oral presentations and a group  project report. This unit includes 120 hours of work integrated learning experiences for students.
