Collaborative Leadership

Research Networks

LEAD has a close relationship with Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research (AIMSR) in Mumbai, India to facilitate research and scholarship within the disciplines of business and leadership. The President of Leaders Institute, Professor Bernard Malik, was the keynote speaker at the Aditya Conference.

Research Seminars

LEAD facilitates quarterly Research Seminars hosted by senior research leaders. These seminars play a vital role in enriching cross-disciplinary academic engagement. They offer an opportunity for the circulation of new, research-led ideas on a vast range of topics and a setting for ‘in-house’ feedback from colleagues and peers who attend either in person or via video conferencing. Participation of all academic staff (whether full-time, part-time or sessional) and postgraduate research students is encouraged.

At LEAD’s Research Seminars, academic staff and/or postgraduate research students present a short talk on their current research, followed by a 15-minute block for feedback and questions from the audience. This provides a preliminary platform for staff and students to prepare their work for subsequent publication or presentation at an academic conference. The purpose of these meetings is to contribute to the overall creation of a culture of research and scholarship at Leaders Institute.
