Food security, supply-chain resilience, and digital technologies are central to agricultural productivity.

Leaders Institute leverages its strong disciplinary expertise in agribusiness, agricultural information systems, and emerging agri-tech to address national and regional challenges. Our researchers work on technology-enabled agricultural optimisation, digital twins for precision farming, data-driven crop management, food systems policy, and sustainable resource utilisation. This research theme also provides real-world translational outcomes through industry partnerships, MAITRI and DFAT-aligned initiatives, and international collaboration across India, and Papua New Guinea.
