Course Rationale

The Master of Business Research equips students with knowledge and skills to identify a gap in scholarly literature, utilise advanced business research methods, and present a detailed research proposal. Through independent research, students identify, investigate, and address a complex challenge in their area of business. Students present findings, demonstrating an original contribution the business sector.

Graduates of the Master of Research may find employment in executive leadership and senior management roles in a relevant occupational field, such as business and industry, entrepreneurial start-ups, not-for-profit organisations, public sector departments, and educational institutions that require skills in research and critical thinking. Additionally, graduates may choose to progress to a doctoral program.
