Australian Agribusiness Institute (AAI) Research Centre was established, in 2024, to advance the vision of Leaders Institute to become a leading private Australian higher education institute in globally sustainable industries. Our researchers cover a range of expertise, such as agriculture, agricultural information management, agribusiness, agronomy, food security, horticultural production, land and farm management, and rural resilience. AAI Research Centre partners with international training and research organisations, including business, government, and community organisations.

Professor Harvinder Singh
AAI Research Centre Director, Professor Harvinder Singh, is one of Australia’s foremost specialists in informatics, traditional and molecular plant breeding approaches for the improvement and management of cereal crops, and medicinal plants. He has published over 50 research articles in peer reviewed journals, books and conference proceedings, as well as securing numerous patents.
